SUMMER 8-DAY WILDERNESS EXPEDITIONS

Each summer BOE offers special one-week wilderness expeditions tailored for young men and women ages 14-18.  Participants spend eight days and seven nights exploring Virginia’s scenic wilderness and their own infinite potentials. Ideal candidates for these programs include teenagers experiencing social or personal difficulties stemming from:

• Learning Disabilities
• Mild Autism Spectrum Disorders
• Emotional Disabilities
• Depression
• Poor Self Concept
• Developmental Delays
• Underdeveloped/ Weakened Identity
• Disruption of Home  (death, divorce)
• Social Awkwardness & Anxiety
