Blackwater Outdoor Experiences works to provide its students with the necessary tools and programs in order to maintain their gains after they have participated in our 22 day therapeutic expeditions. We work as a treatment team to provide feedback and interpretations on psychological testing, further recommendations and suggestions for treatment, and other resources as necessary.
In order to support our wilderness expedition alumni as they transition home, we have developed a three week six session program as a time limited follow up to our 22 Day Therapeutic Wilderness Expeditions that is intended to be a supplement to other aftercare recommendations and treatment. The goal of this program is to help alumni and their family members maintain tools and skills they developed during the expedition and use them in their everyday life. Additionally, we help clients and their families continue working to create a healthy environment for the entire family to continue growing.
This program requires the student to be local or have the ability to meet in person.
Cost: Contact BOE office for further details.
